Distinctive Creative Themes
The Bespoke motor cars of 2025 reveal a series of clearly defined creative themes. Some are rooted in legacy and love, shaped by personal stories, family journeys, and intergenerational connections. Others draw inspiration from the natural world or reinterpret art, architecture, and cultural symbolism through a contemporary lens. Together, these commissions represent the most compelling creative directions of the year and underscore the continued evolution of what it means to commission a Bespoke Rolls-Royce.
Rolls-Royce presents the defining themes and innovations of the past 12 months through a selection drawn from the 5,664 motor cars created for clients worldwide in 2025.
“In 2025, Rolls-Royce Bespoke reached new creative and technical heights, extending beyond our motor cars. This was a year defined by thematic richness, global collaboration and artistic evolution. The astonishing creative execution of these themes is enabled through the extraordinary talents found at the Home of Rolls-Royce, our Bespoke Collective and the expanding reach of our Private Office creative spaces. Our clients’ increasing interest and engagement in more ambitious commissions is realized in our joint pursuit of perfection. Every motor car is a singular expression of its owner’s vision, and together they reflect the spirit of innovation, craft, and cultural fluency that defines Rolls-Royce today.

North America remained the largest region for Rolls-Royce, accounting for approximately one-third of global deliveries. Despite broader market volatility, deliveries in the region matched 2024 levels. North America also recorded strong growth in Bespoke commissions, driven by the first full year of operation of Rolls-Royce Private Office New York.
Family, Memory, and Legacy
Many Bespoke commissions in 2025 reflect deeply personal narratives, ranging from childhood memories and generational gifts to celestial tributes and enduring love stories.

FAMILY, MEMORY, AND LEGACY
Many commissions from 2025 reflect deep personal narratives, from childhood memories and generational gifts to celestial tributes and enduring love stories.
SPECTRE SOULMATE honors a couple’s lifelong journey, featuring a hand-painted coachline selected by their daughter and a Starlight Headliner replicating the constellations above Kuala Lumpur on the day their story began. The date is discreetly engraved into the air vents, marking the fulfillment of a dream first expressed by the client at age 10.

SPECTRE BAILEY, commissioned by U.S.-based clients, is a one-of-one tribute to a beloved family dog. The Bespoke two-tone exterior mirrors the dog’s coloring, complemented by a hand-painted paw-print coachline. Inside, an 80-piece marquetry portrait crafted from nine veneer species captures Bailey’s character with remarkable warmth and realism.

CULLINAN COSMOS, commissioned by a family fascinated by space, features Rolls-Royce’s first fully hand-painted Starlight Headliner, created over 160 hours using 20 layers of paint. Star cluster motifs appear throughout the exterior and interior, finished with an Illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy glowing like a distant star.

NATURE, PLACE, AND THE ELEMENTS
Clients continued to draw inspiration from the natural world to express resilience, renewal, and serenity.

PHANTOM EXTENDED CHERRY BLOSSOM, inspired by Japan’s Hanami tradition, features more than 250,000 stitches throughout the interior, including sculptural three-dimensional embroidery forming cascading cherry petals. A cherry blossom motif extends to the coachline and umbrellas, placing occupants beneath a perpetual spring bloom.

BLACK BADGE CULLINAN DAISY reflects a client’s passion for hiking, with a hand-painted daisy coachline motif inspired by wildflowers seen along a favorite trail. The motif continues throughout the interior, from veneers to embroidery, with constellations charted in the Starlight Headliner as a celestial guide.
ART, CULTURE, AND CONTEMPORARY COLLECTIBLES
Clients drew inspiration from vintage video games, couture, ancient mural art, and emerging collectible categories.

BLACK BADGE GHOST GAMER, commissioned by a technology entrepreneur, reimagines 8-bit gaming culture through hand-painted pixel motifs, seat embroideries labeled “Player 1” through “Player 4,” a lunar scene with UFO inlays, an animated Starlight Headliner, and hidden Easter eggs throughout the cabin.

PHANTOM DENTELLE, commissioned through Private Office Dubai, translates couture lace into embroidery using more than 230,000 stitches across eight techniques. A Bespoke exterior and Rose Gold Spirit of Ecstasy echo the interior’s refined elegance.

PHANTOM YEAR OF THE DRAGON, commissioned to celebrate the lunar year, features a marquetry Gallery of 297 wood pieces depicting two dragons guarding a pearl, mirrored in a Starlight Headliner rendered with more than 1,300 individually placed fiber-optic stars.

CHINESE MURAL ART TRIBUTE, created through Private Office Shanghai, draws from the ancient Dunhuang murals. Three unique motor cars feature hand-painted leather Galleries, new Bespoke exterior colors, and illuminated details inspired by imperial silk and historic artistry.

THE MOST COMPLEX PRIVATE COLLECTION EVER
The Bespoke innovations of 2025 reflect a defining philosophy: the vision comes first, and Rolls-Royce shapes technology and materials to bring it to life. This mindset finds its most complete expression in the Phantom Centenary Private Collection, the result of three years of development and more than 40,000 hours of collective craftsmanship. Created to mark 100 years of the Phantom nameplate, the collection is limited to 25 examples and represents the most technically complex and creatively ambitious Private Collection in Rolls-Royce history.
Finished in a Bespoke two-tone exterior inspired by Hollywood’s black-and-white era, the lower body is Arctic White, contrasted by a Black upper body. A specially developed Super Champagne Crystal finish adds exceptional depth through champagne-colored particles embedded in the clear coat. The exterior is crowned by a solid gold Spirit of Ecstasy.
Inside, Phantom’s century-long legacy unfolds through extraordinary Bespoke features, including the Anthology Gallery with 50 three-dimensional, hand-polished aluminum fins engraved with a century of press quotations; rear seating upholstered in couture-developed fabric embroidered with 160,000 stitches; a Starlight Headliner containing more than 440,000 stitches; and the most intricate woodwork ever produced by the marque, combining three-dimensional marquetry, layered ink printing, and 24-carat gold leaf. An extraordinary motor car, 100 years in the making.
EXPANDING THE LANGUAGE OF BESPOKE
Bespoke in 2025 extended beyond motor cars into clients’ private spaces. Requests for Rolls-Royce luxury lifestyle objects increased 13 percent year over year.
The Rolls-Royce Chess Set debuted as a sculptural, hand-crafted interpretation of the classic game, featuring magnetized pieces, leather-lined drawers, and customizable veneers and leathers. Demand for the Black Badge Rolls-Royce Cameo desktop sculpture increased 50 percent, reflecting growing interest in extending Bespoke into the home.

BUILDING FOR A BESPOKE FUTURE
As client interest in Bespoke continues to grow, Rolls-Royce is expanding its capabilities at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood. Construction on the site extension began in February 2025 and reached a weather-tight milestone in November.
The investment, exceeding $380 million, will add advanced facilities for Bespoke and Coachbuild, enabling increasingly complex commissions. Initial technologies will move into the new space in 2026, with full completion expected before the end of the decade.
